WHILE DRIVING WITH SCANNER ATTACHED IT IS EVIDENT THAT TRANSMISSION IS FAILING. IT WILL RANDOMLY LOCK UP IN PARK WHILE THE SCANNER SAYS IT IS IN EITHER REVERSE OR DRIVE. MUST REPLACE TRANSMISSION AND PROGRAM TO VEHICLE. ESTIMATE GIVEN TO CUSTOMER – HE IS GOING TO EXPLORE REBUILDING HIS EXISTING TRANSMISSION.
